PART TIME TEACHERS WANTED

ComputerXPlorers is part of the world's largest franchised network providing quality technology education for children. It has been established for more than 25 years and has taught over 3 million+ classes. It is all about learning by having fun with technology - not just computers. The clubs and classes run in a variety of settings (after school clubs, breakfast clubs, summer camps, in curriculum, etc) and provide a fantastic blend of tangible education and technology skills delivered in a fun-filled package for children from the ages of 3 to 14.

The business has been operating successfully in the Bristol and Bath area now for two years and we are looking to recruit more part time teachers in readiness for the Autumn term (September 2012 onwards).

In particular we are looking for part time teachers in East, West, Central, South, and North Bristol, Portishead, Tickenham, Cheddar, and Wells, but if you live in any other area we would still like to hear from you.

This is a genuine opportunity and the people we are looking for will love working with children, are enthusiastic about technology, want to work on a part time basis for about 4 to 10 hours per week based from home, but teaching in school sites, and can see the opportunity of getting involved in this innovative children's technology programme. These roles are not really suitable for anyone wanting a full time teacher, or, supply teacher role.

You would most likely be an ex teacher, or retired teacher looking to teach occasionally, a classroom learning assistant looking for part time work, or someone who has ran an after school club or similar. Qualified teachers would be perfect but if not, you must be able to demonstrate classroom management experience in one form or another. If you do not have this type of background please do not apply.

The most important credential is that you are good with children and genuinely interested in their happiness and development. You must also have a clean driving license and be mobile with your own transport as you will be required to travel from home to the schools in question.

For safety/security reasons all successful applicants will be subject to a Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) check if one cannot be supplied.

We will provide you with the training you need, the materials you need and the management and organisation of the business. No selling is involved, we organise the clubs and classes and you run them.

We also offer excellent rates of pay and expenses are also paid if applicable.
