Salary: Circa £7.50 per hour (depending on experience)
Battersea Bridge House is a 22 bedded low secure mental health hospital situated in South London, part of Inmind Healthcare a growing independent sector provider dedicated to excellence.
We are looking for a bright, enthusiastic and flexible individual with prior experience in reception/administration work to support our existing reception team. Experience within a health care setting is desirable.
Key responsibilities include:
Representing the unit both face to face and via telephone in a polite and professional manner
Co-ordinating patient visits and use of visiting facilities
Ensuring security policies and procedures are adhered to at all times including prevention of contraband items entering the unit
Allocating and monitoring daily suited staff keys
Ensuring that an up-dated fire register is always available
Post and deliveries
General administration duties including photocopying, basic typing etc
.
The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate the following:
high levels of discretion and confidentiality
good organisational skills
accurate logging skills
good written and spoken communication skills with an excellent telephone manner
have initiative
be able to work autonomously
be comfortable interacting with the client group
be flexible regarding the hours and days they can work
Full induction and regular supervision will be provided along with all mandatory training.
