My client is a busy family of four – Dad is a Vet who runs a veterinary practice in nearby Kidderminster, he works long days and 2 in every 3 weekends. Mom is a chartered accountant who runs her own consultancy business. G5 is a lovely kind little girl who loves dancing, crafts and pony riding. B4 is a typical boy, who has a sweet kind nature and enjoys being outdoors.
The family are looking for a replacement for our wonderful nanny, who is leaving to work in America.
1. Mother’s help responsibilities:
• Collect children from school 3 or 4 days per week.
• Meal preparation for children (good wholesome balanced meals).
• Taking to after school activities such as dance classes and swimming lessons.
• Support learning by helping with homework when required.
• Provide broad range of activities to develop and expand the children’s experiences including outdoor games, swimming and crafts.
• Bath and bedtime routine.
• Additional ad-hoc babysitting - occasional evenings and weekends.
• Child care during school holidays (3 days per week).
Hours:
• Term time 3.15 to 6/6.30 (Occasional 7.30pm finish)
• Holidays: 8.30 – 6pm, 3 days a week (minimum)
• Some flexibility on start/finish times required
• Generally hours are not less than 90 hours per month
2. Home help requirements:
• Ironing.
• Children’s laundry.
• General housework to include cleaning and vacuuming.
Hours:
• Term time 2 hours per week.
• During holidays to be incorporated into childcare time.
3. Other requirements:
• Fun, out-going personality.
• Positive, “can do” attitude, capable of using initiative.
• Previous experience of caring for children essential.
• Professional qualification in child care an advantage but not essential
• Own car and clean driving licence essential.
• Must like cats, dogs and ideally ponies.
A car driver is essential!

Hours will vary especially in the school holidays! Average hours per month is 100! Pay will be pro rated!
