Precise, the UK’s number one media Intelligence agency, requires Part-Time Media Evaluation Analysts to join our Insight division. Your main duty will be to evaluate media coverage for a variety of clients which will ultimately be used to produce media evaluation reports. These help our clients to determine how they are being perceived in the media and whether their public relations are being effective.

Your responsibilities will include:
• Evaluating press and broadcast coverage to a set of pre-defined criteria specific to each client;
• Making judgements as to how favourable or detrimental the stories are to the client;
• Maintaining accurate records of the delivery of coverage, as well as looking for gaps and duplication in the coverage;
• Entering evaluated data into a specially designed database, personalised for each client;
• Implementing quality assurance checks on data before processing;
• Ensuring evaluation for clients’ reports is completed by the deadline, which is usually weekly, monthly or quarterly;
• Building market and sector knowledge and expertise, for example, by reading all the press, keeping up to date with developments
• Implementing the company’s quality control procedures to ensure that other analysts' work meet the required standards;
• Providing general support and information to the analyst team and those involved in handling the clients' accounts.

The ideal candidate will be qualified with, or be studying towards, a graduate-level qualification.

Person Specification
You will require the following skills:
• Proven analytical ability and presentation skills
• Impeccable English
• Languages, particularly French or German highly desirable
• Keen eye for detail
• Numerical skills
• Ability to work on your own initiative
• Very proficient in MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint. Knowledgeable in creating pivot tables and charts in Excel
• The ability to meet tight deadlines and to work to a high standard under pressure
• Knowledge of the Banking and Professional Services sectors highly beneficial


Hours: Monday to Friday, 4.30pm to 9.30 pm, including 30 minute break
(Please note that this is a permanent part-time position and that these hours are not flexible)
Students who are restricted to only 20 hours work per week need not apply as this role comes to 25 hours work per week.

Salary: £10 per hour
