We are looking for an energetic, well-educated, friendly, patient, trustworthy, organized and responsible nanny with proven childcare experience to help our children with homework, assist them with music practice and cook our family healthy, tasty meals.

WORK HOURS: This is a part-time, live-out, permanent position. The hours are Monday through Friday 2:00pm to 8:00pm.

PAY: Negotiable.

JOB DESCRIPTION: The afternoon will consist of the following activities:
-Assist our nearly 8 year old girl with her homework (reading, writing, math, science, history) for approximately 1 hour
-Assist our 5 year old boy with his homework (reading, writing, math) for approximately 30 minutes
-Assist with piano practice for 8 year old girl and 5 year old boy for approximately 40 minutes
-Assist with violin practice for 8 year old girl for approximately 20 minutes
-Cook healthy, delicious, varied meals for the four children and two parents for approximately 2 hours

The key is to provide a stimulating and fun educational environment for the children with a focus on efficiency and discipline.

While it is important to maintain general tidiness, this job does not require feeding or bathing the 1 year old and 2 year old, housework such as cleaning, laundry/ironing, food preparation or cleaning the dishes after dinner. We have a live-in housekeeper who will manage those duties.

START DATE: November 2012

LOCATION: Belsize Park. It would be preferable if you have a short commute.

FOR THIS JOB YOU MUST:
1. Be fluent in English. You must have at least two years experience working with children in a professional capacity as a nanny or qualified childcare worker, with excellent references. You should either have, or be willing to get, OFSTED registration / CRB check / First Aid Certificate. Non-smokers only please.
2. Have experience and a passion for cooking. Can be creative and use the groceries and cookbooks available to create a healthy, tasty, and balanced meal.
3. Possibly have experience playing the piano and/or the violin. Ideally, can read music and help with tempo and style.

You should be willing to provide a copy of 1.passport 2. Driving license (if any)
