Opportunity Summary
Ethosdata is a global provider of Virtual Data Room services mainly used during M&A transactions. Partly owned by Copal Partners, part of Moodys Corporate, we have offices in India, London, Beijing and New York.
EthosData is expanding its activities and market around the world and is currently looking for a candidate to form part of the team in UK.
The responsibilities of this role include day to day client and deal room management as well participating in new business development. There would be very frequent interaction with investment bankers, law firms and CFO officers of clients. Also very close interaction with EthosData's management which is based in London. You will learn a broad range of valuable business skills such project management skills and client-relationship development skills.
This is an excellent opportunity for anyone interested in gathering international experience and developing the UK market, becoming acquainted with different types of transactions and working closely with the top management of EthosData. You will join the team initially as a provisional period and you have the opportunity to become a full-time deal coordinator based on your performance.
Required Background:
Service oriented. This job is 100% service.
Strong verbal (in person and phone) and written English communication skills. Capable of understanding and being clearly understood by non-Native English speakers. This is a key area of this function.
At least knowledge of a second language at fluent level. Chinese or Asian language knowledge preferable but not necessary.
High level knowledge on PDF files formatting, Microsoft Office, Internet. Capability on learn technology very quickly.
Quality in execution and delivery.
Flexibility regarding working hours (on call 24/7).
Enjoy working in team.
Easy to adapt to new environments.
Can-do attitude, willingness to grow into sales role (comfortable with both client meetings and cold calling efforts).
Experience in a transaction environment (paralegal, auditor, investment banking or similar) is preferable but not necessary.
