A sound knowledge of Chartered Accounts in general
Heres the techinical bit :
Duties required and role;
• Control and reconciliation of Purchase and Sales Ledger including raising sales invoices ON BI-MONTHLY INVOICE CYCLE
• VAT Returns including ESL Listings
• Credit control
• General Ledger Work, prepayments and accruals
• Abillity to take accounts to trial balance
• Reconciliation of expenses, petty cash, Bank Accounts, Paypal and Credit Card statements
• Payroll
• General support and assistance to Director
• To file documentation in manual and computerised filing systems
• Banking

About us

We are a small team of diverse personalities (we are mostly over 40) and you will be working in a lively, noisy and chaotic shared office. We are looking for someone who is keen to work on a part time basis as a permanent situation although the hours will be increased over time as we expand we do want someone who is flexible during our peak hours and happy to increase their hours on an adhoc basis

You need to be happy to raise invoices, occasionally work under pressure, and deal with credit control by email and telephone in a friendly but positive manor. We produce a high volume of paper here and a lot of our sales are organised through paypal & subscription.

Having recently had a high degree of sight problems the MD needs someone who can take over the day to day financial administration and work closely with her.
