A position has become available for a full time Office Manager working within a niche high quality Commercial Bakery in Central London (NW3).
You will be responsible for running the office based side of the business including telephone and internet orders, customer service issues, coordinating suppliers, Staff liaison and other admin duties.
The role requires an independent, responsible and committed person with excellent telephone manner, a great attention to detail, able to work withn a small team.
Duties will typically include:
Answering calls from customers and prospective customers and taking orders
Downloading internet based orders and internet queries
Liaising with suppliers and couriers
Meeting and greeting clients
Managing client accounts including invoicing and other basic accounting matters
HR support i.e. managing the holiday and sick leave rosters, staff issues including job performance and team dynamics
General office and administrative duties, including photocopying, sending and receiving emails, use of MS word, Excel and Sage
Experience required:
Excellent command of the English language spoken and written
Good IT skills, including MS Word, Excel and preferably Sage (not compulsory will be taught)
Ability to meet tight deadlines
Excellent telephone manner and good writing skills
Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize
Strong team player, but must be able to work efficiently unsupervised
Able to conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times
Must have permission to work in the UK with relevant documentation
Hours - Monday to Thursday, 8.00 to 5.00pm Friday 8.00 4.00pm
Wages - £18,000 to £20,000 per year depending on experience with excellent performance remunerated
