We have an opportunity for a friendly and people person in a part-time combined role of front of house receptionist and office administrator for our private health centre and training institute (for adults).
You will be responsible for running the office side of the businesses including telephone and email enquiries, issuing invoices, taking payments, financial reconciliations and other admin duties.
The role requires a reliable and organised person with good attention to detail. The person must have an excellent telephone manner and good time management skills with the ability to prioritise their own workload. We are a small team on the premises and so you will be an important part of the business.
Duties will typically include -
Responding to telephone / email enquires
Checking new patient paperwork and entering details onto computer system
Making appointments (both in person and over the telephone) in a computer diary (training will be given on computer software)
Typing of reports and letters to GPs and Consultants
Checking student enrolment and ensuring all paperwork is duly completed
Taking payment of fees (credit card payments)
Producing reports regarding payment of fees
Monitoring and corresponding with students regarding attendance, examinations, payment of course fees /examination fees
Liaising with teachers regarding students
Corresponding with Examination Board - booking exams, booking examiners, enrolling students,
Checking examination results and producing Diplomas
Booking rooms for Courses
You must have -
Excellent telephone manner and good writing skills
Fluency in both written and spoken English
Good IT skills, including MS Word, Excel, Outlook (training will be given on bespoke packages)
Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize
Necessary paperwork allowing you to work in the UK
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday 2 7pm (20 hours)
This is a pro rated salary at 20 hrs a week.
The salary is based on £18,000 - £20,000 for a full time position (40 hours)

The position is based near Hanger Lane / Alperton. The centre is easily accessible by car and is well served by public transport.
