Flex Language Services are an accredited OCN examination centre and run high quality interpreting training. We set our new course dates running in June & July. 10 sessions over 5 weeks (Fridays & Saturdays beginning 8th June 2012)

The course is based around generic interpreting skills. Lectures provide information on interpreting techniques/strategies. Seminars and practical sessions elaborate key elements of Community Interpreting, developing skills by practical exercises, tutor feedback and self- and peer-critique of recorded work. The course incorporates practice, role plays, guest lecturers and videos to help students develop stronger interpreting skills. Directed study initiates students into critical analysis of translation sources and glossary production.

After successful completion on the course; candidates then have the opportunity to work as qualified in house and freelance interpreters across agencies and other sectors.
