I am a UK registered Occupational Therapist and teacher-in-training looking for part-time work with children with special needs as I complete my postgraduate certificate in education. I am open to working in a school environment, with a family or in a private practice, ideally for three days a week (or part-time hours).

As an Occupational Therapist, I have the skills to identify barriers to learning (eg. developmental delays), design intervention programmes, and work with children to fulfill their potential.

I have previous experience as an ABA tutor working with a four-year old child with autism and as a special needs teaching assistant. I have also previously set up an education project aiming to increase learners' love for learning through activity-based sessions focusing on numeracy and literacy. This included an occupational therapy programme for Year 1 to 3 learners. Before this, I worked in a busy hospital in South Africa working with children in the burns unit and Cerebral Palsy clinics.

I am a responsible and caring person who loves working with children. I have a recent CRB certificate and solid references. I currently live in East Grinstead and could work in the West Sussex, Surrey, South London or Kent regions.
