We are Brightons biggest venue and we are seeking Musicians to fill multiple slots on Brighton Seafront. We are the only venue on the seafront with a live music busking licence and the site is well known across the UK for the live acts that perform with us.
Roles of the musicians at our venue:
If you are on a morning busk it is your job to grow our 600 person terrace and to attract the right cliental to our venue. Busking slots are from 10:00 till 13:00 and 18:00 till 10:00 7 days a week. It is vital you are on time and ready to begin your set bang on your start time. We are looking for talented people that perhaps want to gain experience of playing in front of large crowds and people that have a true love of playing live. We are seeking people that have a professional attitude and are always on time.
We are a weather dependant seasonal venue so we are seeking people that are in close proximity to the venue that if the sun comes out unexpectedly would be flexible and able to get to the site in quick time.
Because it is a busk there must be an understanding of the realities of this. The potential to make money if you work the terrace is huge as there are 600 covers and also thousands of people that walk past or through the site daily. Coupled with that, sometimes the weather may not be great but the venue will still need you there doing your best.
Any acts that prove themselves will be offered our paid weekend afternoon slots during the summer months and also the best band will be offered our house band slot.
Must have a good rep of popular material and be able to do hours of covers.
