I am bringing a groundbreaking court case over the next few months, which has already had widespread world media coverage, but needs more. My focus has to turn now, to preparing for winning the case, so I am looking for a media affairs administrator, to contact news desks, magazines, television stations, radio programmes, and other organizations by phone, build rapport, explaining the case briefly, and generating coverage and media invitations by emailing further details in order to generate the media exposure and maximum beneficial impact for a world debate on this important social issue.
A conscientious and enthusiastic telephone presence is essential, as well as a high standard of written English.
If you have full daytime availability from Monday to Friday, 9 to 5, for the next 4 weeks, and are prepared to work for a good cause on little more than the minimum wage, then please reply to this ad with your CV, and contact telephone number as soon as possible.
The interview and occasional subsequent planning meetings for the successful candidate will be in central London, but if you have a landline telephone number with a free local, national and International calls package available, then you will be able to work from your home primarily if you choose.
You will be compiling a media contacts database as you go - so experience in this area would be a bonus, but is not essential.
A background in news, public relations, social affairs, politics, education or media would be beneficial, but not as essential as enthusiasm and common sense.
