Optima continue to source and develop exciting new commercial and residential properties throughout the UK. We currently require a marketing and events intern for a creative and dynamic hands on role.

The role is specifically to market and promote a 200,000 sq ft former Victorian brewery located in Burton on Trent, just north of Birmingham which we have converted into high end office space. The role will be based in Burton on Trent.

Duties include:

1) B2B research and marketing - targeting local, regional and national businesses including agents and local companies
2) Networking and building important client relationhips
3) Publicity - including creating press realeses, distributing of promotional materials (and designing them if possible) via email and any other ways
4) Using social media networks as a platorm to do all of the above
5) Creating social events and evenings for local community involvement
6) Other tasks assisting with the on going development of the building including sourcing materials, goods etc

This is a creative role and requires a driven, well presented and organised individual. No previous experience is required, however will be favourable. You will need to:

1) Be a self starter - comfortable taking initiative and being responsible for your own work
2) Have excellent communication, written and verbal skills
3) Have good administrative and IT skills (including Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel)
4) Be well presented with an excellent confident telephone manner
6) Be able to work in a fast and efficient way, meet tragets and able to complete tasks and give regular updates on your progress

It is expenses only - to cover travel and lunch
