This is a lovely role for a Houseman/Butler/Driver to work (with a partner looking to work as a part-time housekeeper) on a private estate near Nottingham. The Houseman/Butler/Driver role is a full-time , permanent role working 40 hours per week. This is a live in role with a separate 2 bedroom cottage provided. A minimum of 3 years relevant experience in private households.
The duties will include but are not limited to;
•General household management and maintenance includingheating, clocks, stoking fires, alarm systems, etc.
•Overseeing contractors and worksmen
•Some household PA duties including answering telephone, shopping, ordering daily papers etc.
•Butling when the family are in residence including laying and serving at the dinner table, polishing silvers, welcoming guests when the property is open to the public etc.
•Driving including occasional airport runs and trips to London ( it is therefore essential that you have a full clean UK drivers licence
•Security including ensuring all estate doors and gates are opened and shut appropriately.
•General presentation of the estate at all times.
The partners housekeeping role is offered on a part time basis and will be paid separately on an hourly rate.
This is an outstanding position for a couple to join a lovely household. This is a long term position with an immediate start.
Salary for the Houseman/Butler/Driver is £25,000
Salary for the part time Housekeeper will be paid on an hourly rate
