Ambitious Kitchen Porter/Junior Commis Chef required for small but busy Gastro pub in the centre of Henley on Thames. We have nearly been open for a year and are getting busier, especially as summer approaches and the toursit season begins. We are looking for an ambitious individual with a passion for good food and a willingless to learn new skills. The job role requires approx 25-30 hours over 4/5 days per week. You will work alongside our head chef/proprietor Mark who has been a chef for 30 years and also our second senior chef who has previously worked at The Crooked Billet. We offer excellent fresh food from simple pub classics to more complex dishes so this is a great opportunity to learn, starting salary will be basic but there is the opportunity for this to increse as your skills grow.
