The job meets the national minimum wage and will mainly involve working evenings and weekends.
As a kitchen porter, you would work alongside chefs and cooks to keep the kitchen clean, tidy, safe and hygienic. Your duties would include:
1) During service working effeciently to ensure that all plates, pans, and cooking utensils are cleaned and stored in a timely manner.
2) Maintaining high levels of cleanliness by completing tasks as identifed in the restaurants cleaning schedule.
3) You may be involved in putting deliveries away and arranging safely in the storeage rooms.
4) Prior to the kitchen opening you may also be asked to complete some prep as directed by the chefs.
