Kitchen Porter required for large outside catering company in south Manchester. The Kitchen Porter plays an important role in the hotel and ensures that all kitchen areas are well maintained and cleaned. Main duties involve operating and maintaining cleaning equipment and tools, including the dish washing machine, hand wash station, pot scrubbing stations and trash compactor. Wash and disinfect kitchen area, tables, tools knives and equipment. Ensure clean wares are stored in appropriate areas. Working hours are 9-5 with days off being typically a Wednesday and Thursday.
