We have an exciting opportunity for a Kitchen Manager at the Prince of Wales in Fleet, part of our Flaming Grill Brand.

Kitchen Manager duties and responsibilities:

Full control and accountability to lead, develop and inspire the kitchen team.
Ensuring there is a seamless link between the kitchen and the front of house teams.
People management including recruitment, training & development, rota planning, performance management.
Department cost control including ensuring team correctly manage stock and wastage, costs, and monitoring other outgoings.
Department stock control including ordering, rotation and wastage.
Ensuring your department operates inside company standards for quality and service.
Proactively working with the GM working towards common goals to promote the business as needed to increase revenue streams.
What we look for in a Kitchen Manager:

We are looking for a manager who displays positive leadership by translating goals into clear objectives for their team. You should be extremely goal focused, have a high drive for achievement and the tenacity to achieve objectives and overcome challenges. You should have the ability to identify, understand and give priority to satisfying guest needs. Your concern for accuracy and quality shall reduce uncertainty by creating a well-ordered work environment.

Qualifications needed:

Successful candidates will have recent experience working for a branded company in a similar role such as Kitchen Manager, Head Chef or Sous Chef. You will have a proven track record of managing a high performing team in a high pressure and high volume environment.
