We are looking for a Junior PHP Developer to join our growing digital agency in Central London.

The role is open to graduates and individuals with some existing experience within the industry.

You should be passionate about digital and have a particular preference in developing back-end code. However you should also feel comfortable working with designers in bringing the front-end experience to life.

DayOneDigital develop creative and innovative online and offline solutions for our clients. You will have exposure to website, wep app and mobile development. We enjoy utilising and experimenting with the most current technologies.

General requirements

- Plain speaking, effective verbal and written communication skills
- You should be collaborative, intelligent, agile and results focused
- Ability to work alone or in a team as circumstances dictate

Tech requirements

- HTML, CSS3
- 1+ years experience with PHP5.x and MySQL
- Javascript (JQuery)
- Basic knowledge of SEO best practices
- Be comfortable documenting code

Preferred

- Experience with MVC frameworks and CMS platforms (Wordpress, ModX, Symfony, Zend, etc)
- HTML5
- Experience with AJAX techniques
- Knowledge of web application security considerations
- Experience with source control software
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator
- Interest in UX/UI
