Sous chef needed to start asap. We are a fast paced, high volume, fresh food kitchen in need of a strong, experianced sous chef to help lead the team and support the Head chef.
We are a small but busy restaurant in the centre of caversham serving fresh food. As sous chef you will have a strong understanding of fresh food, stock rotation, health and safety, food hygiene and stock management. You will be required to work 52 hours per week over 5 days including evenings, days and weekends, monthly paid, salary will depend on experiance.
We run a lot of additional training courses free of charge including first aid, health and safety, food hygiene etc and as sous chef you will attend sous chef confrences a few times a year along with the other sous chefs from the company which are taken by our executive chef.
We are looking for a chef who takes pride in what they do, a self motivated thinker, who is looking to progress in a small but rapidly growing company.
