This is a pivotal financial and administrative support role at IDPE, the UK’s leading schools’ Fundraising and Alumni Relations (Development) membership organisation and a registered charity. IDPE provides members with training and peer to peer support with the objective of developing fundraising in schools by growing the skills and knowledge of those involved with Development. Through its work, the IDPE helps maximise funds raised in UK schools to ensure young people benefit from the very best secondary education.

Working independently as part of a small team of four from our Head Office based at Kelston Park, between Bristol and Bath, the Accounts and Office Administrator will be responsible for producing invoices, maintaining financial records and reports, running payroll and credit control, and supporting the Finance Director in maintaining and preparing accurate and up-to-date accounts. The role will also include administrative responsibilities, such as processing new memberships, sending regular e-communications, contributing to website content, and providing general office administration. The Accounts and Office Administrator will report to the Finance Director and Managing Director and will work with the Events Manager and Membership Services Coordinator to ensure the efficient and accurate running of the office and membership services.

The successful candidate will have experience with bookkeeping, payroll and PAYE, databases, Microsoft Office software, websites, e-communications, enjoy working independently and have a high level of administrative skills, including excellent written English and time management along with strong organisational flair. An IAB, AAT or ICB qualification is preferable.
