The Capsule Blog is a blog I’m starting to try and document modern life (for want of a less wanky statement)- culture, politics, ramblings. But instead of using only my opinions, I’m inviting talented writers from all over the world to send in their concise, brilliant snippets of modern life, in articles of 500 words or less, to draw together a more conclusive view and generally just have a lot of fun in the process.

I'm currently looking for writers to start this venture- obviously this will be unpaid, but you will receive full credit, a link to your blog/website, and a possible returning writer spot if everything works out. I will keep all pieces written in case I feel an extended relationship with a particular writer would be benificial. Without sounding too high and mighty, the articles must be relevant in some way to modern- culture, modern affairs, politics. Films, music, books, and well-written, an up to 500 words long. Preferably they should have some sense of humour and intelligence too. I will edit pieces but obviously the less typoes (typos?) the better. If your piece doesn't appear on the site within two weeks I'm afraid you haven't been successful. So, with all bases covered, please free to get in contact, and send your completed pieces, along with a few lines of biography and link to your blog/website. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
