The starting salary is £25k which is reviewed every 6 months and is based on performance and progress towards chartered management accountant status.
You could be assigned to one of the following regions, providing a degree of personal stability during the training period and we have six roles available:
Our Support Services Division has several business units within the Midlands. This includes our nuclear business unit based in Leicester which is the UKs largest specialist nuclear support services organisation. It is also the home of our power and communications operations, part of the Critical Assets business unit, which are based in Annesley, Nottinghamshire.
Our Defence and Security Division is headquartered in Hurn, near Bournemouth. Consisting of three business units; Air, Land & Sea and Infrastructure; the Defence and Security Division is a leading provider of Equipment Support, Military Training and Infrastructure services to all three Armed Forces ensuring the delivery of mission critical services.
Our Marine & Technology Division owns and operates Devonport Royal Dockyard in Plymouth, which is the UK's sole refitting, and refuelling facility for Royal Navy submarines and a major support facility for the refit and support of warships.
Our Rail business, a leading engineering company in the rail infrastructure market supporting Network Rail and other rail industry customers to provide a safe, reliable and efficient rail network across Great Britain. The rail business is the largest conventional track renewals contractor in the country and is Network Rails Supplier of the Year for 2012.
Description of Training Programme
As you move between our business units, during both your training and later career development, youll gain the broadest exposure to company based accounting and financial management. And youll be mentored every step of the way towards chartered management accountant status (ACMA Associate of the Chartered Management Accountants (CIMA)).
Qualifications & Requirements
2:2 Honours degree or above in Finance, Mathematics or Science, with at least 280 UCAS points (excluding General Studies)

Successful candidates will need to satisfy Ministry of Defence security requirements and may be required to complete a medical assessment.
