Who Are We?
The London Brigade is a not for profit uniformed youth organisation working with young people aged 11 to 19 years old across London, providing new skills, training, fun and community involvement and development through Cadet Divisions which take place one night per week normally held between 7pm and 9pm in which young people (Cadets) take part in fun, challenging and rewarding activities, they also complete tasks in order to receive badges for their uniform.
What Do We Do?
The London Brigade provides a range of activities and personal development opportunities by promoting the physical, intellectual, mental and social well-being of the individual and team, helping young people achieve their full potential and develop 'learning by doing,' giving young people new opportunities, responsibility and a sense of community and belonging.
As well as Division evenings Cadets take part in weekend duties, supporting public and community events as well as camps, residential, trips and other activities.
What Is The Vacancy?
The main role will be to re-brand and modernise our current logo, as well as to support us with a range of publicity materials, which we can use to increase our awareness across London.
We are looking for the following items;
1. Office Stationery (Letterhead, Complement Slips & Business Cards);
2. Leaflet, Business Card, Flyers & Poster (To promote the service);
3. Staff Handbook (Booklet to inform others of who we are, what we do, etc);
4. Annual Reports (Yearly Report of our Activities);
5. Fundraising Pack (To be sent to potential funders);
6. Recruitment Pack (To be used to advertise volunteer vacancies);
8. UPDATED uniform badges;
9. Other materials used for the London Brigade, including materials designed by young people.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is interested in contributing to developing a youth charitable organisation.
