For 2011, we took Orlebar Brown off the beach, out of the pool and into the resort with a range of shirts, shorts, jackets and trousers and for 2012 we continue to expand our range and are now launching into a new territory – Germany – with the launch of www.orlebarbrown.de.


THE POSITION:

This full-time position is an opportunity to join a rapidly expanding fashion and lifestyle brand as German Customer Service Representative.

This varied role is central to the smooth running of the German website shop. You will provide a support to the Office Executive in the day-to-day running of the website shop as well as ensuring all telephone calls/emails/live chats from the German website (and UK/US occasionally) are answered.

You will be in daily contact with customers of the Orlebar Brown website shop, liaise with the Product and Marketing Departments as well as the Director to ensure day to day tasks and administrative issues are carried out and resolved where needed.

The position will be paid at £8 per hour and will be on an initial temporary contract for 4 months with a review at the end (and a possibility of the role becoming permanent).


GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Customer Service - Providing excellent customer service. Resolving customer enquiries, helping with exchanges and refunds in a prompt, courteous and efficient manner.

• Waiting Lists - Ensuring all customer waiting lists are continuously monitored and people are contacted as soon as items come back into stock.

• Failed/Un-confirmed Orders – monitoring on a daily basis the failed or un-confirmed orders at the website. Checking with customers to see if there was a problem with the website and or you/we can help them complete the transaction.

• Website Order Fulfilment – You will ultimately (with the Office Executive), be responsible for ensuring all orders from the German website shop are sent out promptly and correctly.

EXPERIENCE:

You will have experience:

• Working as part of a team within an office environment.
• Working with an E-commerce (beneficial) or other retailer or emerging brand.
• Dealing with customer enquiries, order fulfilment, order tracking, exchanges and refunds.
• Experience of developing and working with systems accurately and efficiently.
• Organisational skills with experience of prioritising workloads, multi-tasking, predicting problems and other issues.
