Registered Mental Health Nurses (RMN’s) needed to join an out of town (North Kent) healthcare hospital that specialises in the care of young people, aged 12 to 18 (male & female), who have been detained under the Mental Health Act.
Ideally you will have experience working with young adolescent services or be able to demonstrate a strong desire of wanting to work within Mental Health.
As a Support Worker or a Bank Support Worker you will provide quality care of the highest standard, offering support and assisting young people in their daily living. You will be assisting the qualified staff to meet the psycho, social, physical, and recreational and diversity needs of the young people. It is essential that you have effective written and verbal communication skills, a basic understanding of MHA with a non judgemental attitude of patients who are distressed or present with aggressive behaviour
Support Worker will be working full time – over a seven day week, twenty-four hour day, including weekends and Bank Holidays where required – reporting to the Team Leader and accountable to the Executive Director.
Salary £16.809kpa
Bank Support Worker will be flexible working full time – over a seven day week, twenty-four hour day, including weekends and Bank Holidays where required – reporting to the Team Leader and accountable to the Executive Director.
