Brooks Hotels Ltd is looking for an Assistant manager for our exciting new venture in Edinburgh. Brooks Hotels took over the Herald House Hotel in Grove Street in May 2012.
Currently trading as a busy 46 bedroom 2 star hotel we are undergoing a major rerefurbishment program to transform the Herald into a fantastic boutique Townhouse
An opportunity exists for an experienced hospitality professional to join our team reporting to the general manager working in a a growing company striving to meet the highest standards for our customers specilizing in B&B
Brooks Hotels has 2 boutique guesthouses currently in Bath and Bristo

The successful candidate will gain experience across the full spectrum of running the hotel and take responsibility for all areas of the hotel on the General managers days off and holidays. The key tasks are as follows:

The key tasks include manning a busy reception desk , dealing with customers ability to problem solve & think on your feet
Delegate key tasks to housekeeping and F&B team & NP's
Front of House Experience essential ,&Computer litteracy essential , knowledge of OTA and front of house systems
Good telephone manner and good local knowledge
Must be fluent English Speaker ,
40 hour week ,, must be available to work weekends and evenings competitive salary £18,000-£20,000 per annum 28 days holidays plus quarterly bonus package
