To work within a busy Take-away environment and get involved in all aspects of cleaning, preparation, customer service, supplier ordering and cooking.

Pre-opening shop cleaning and general shop readiness
Preparation of food items
Front-of-house service
Cooking of food
Preparation during service
Cleaning down of shop post-service
Other activities relevant within the shop
Working within a rota system with evening and weekend shifts being scheduled as required

To ensure that the cooking environment is kept in a clean and hygienic fashion, to assist other staff members in carrying out their duties and to be involved in promptly preparing and cooking customer orders.

It is essential to be comfortable interacting with the general public, being able to take direction from superiors and to interact with suppliers when ordering the relevant stock items.

Prior experience within the catering industry is preferable at whatever level. Training will be provided once employment commences and a Health and Hygiene Qualification will be undertaken to ensure the relevant standards of Health and Hygiene are understood.

This is an entry level role, but within a small company that has plans to expand in the near future.

The ideal candidate would be a hardworking and ambitious person that is looking to get started within the catering industry. References will be requested.
