We are recruiting a Duty Manager for our Putney branch.
The position is a full time role, but days will vary as we are open 7 days a week from 9.30am-6pm.
The job of the Duty Manager is to assist the Centre Manager in the smooth running of the Centre, with the best possible customer and employee satisfaction.
The Duty Manager:
• is responsible for the Centre in absence of the Centre Mgr
• supports the Centre Mgr in maintaining the Centre in terms of product, equipment and people
• opens and closes the facility
• carries out H&S checks
• manages the Team while on duty
• deals with problems, queries, complaints, staff and customers in the Centre
• opens and closes (cashing up) the tills
• helps to create both a good service standard and a fun work environment
• ensures the implementation and maintenance of legislation, company standards and procedures
A candidate with Food Hygiene or First Aid training or a CRB check would be a bonus.
On job NVQ training is offered and there is good growth potential.
The job would suit a person with experience in running a restaurant, cafe or retail operation.
