Manchester's only 5 star hotel is looking for an outgoing and reliable person to work fulltime in their Customer Services/Switchboard department. We are looking for someone who can work a busy switchboard as well as multi task several systems key to the daily operation of the hotel, all while exceeding our guests expectations. The candidate must be able to communicate confidently and clearly over the phone, handle several guest and staff requests at any one time, as well as talk them through any technical and IT issues they may have. They must have excellent organisational skills to help maintain the booking system for 2 busy restaurants. Full training will be provided, however a better than average understanding of computers and software is important as the position can at times be very technical. The candidate must be able to work as a team but also under their own supervision for long periods of time. Shifts consist of 12 hours per day, 7 on and 7 off - not consecutively, usually 3 on 3 off, 2 on 2 off etc...

This position is ideal for someone who has just finished Hospitality training and looking to make Hotels or admin in the Hotel industry a career. An Exceptional command of the English language, both written and verbal is absolutely essential! This position is at the very nerve centre of a very successful property and you will learn about, and work with all the different departments within the business. Gaining valuable knowledge and one day if successful, having your pick of areas to transfer into. This is not a transitional position. We are looking for someone who wants to commit to the position for at least a year.

The pay is £14400 per annum. A great starting wage for someone fresh out of Uni. You will also have the opportunity to earn additional income from our incentives scheme to promote spa bookings and upgrades to our suites.
