This young, dynamic and fast growing experience tourism agency is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join its small Edinburgh-based customer service team.

The job
This full-time position will require you to be involved in all areas of the customer facing part of the business, predominantly responding to customer sales and service inquiries by telephone and email.

Key responsibilities
You will be required to be involved in all customer service demands of the business, however the key responsibilities of this job are:

• Answer customer inquiries by telephone and email,
• Process sales for customers by telephone,
• Offering an excellent customer service experience to all customer,
• Managing the daily dispatch of information and literature to customers,

Please note that there is no outbound or cold sales calling required.

The person
The ideal candidate for the job will be a motivated individual with customer service experience and have the following skills and attributes:

• Have a good working knowledge of the experience tourism industry in Scotland,
• Offer excellent levels of service in dealing with customers on a regular basis,
• Be a problem solver, able to think on their feet and respond to a wide range of customer demands,
• Have a good working knowledge of the internet and business tools such as Microsoft Word,
• Ideally have a drivers license (but not essential),
• Be able to work as part of a small team.

Salary
The position will receive a salary of up to £12k depending on experience.
