Could fostering be your next challenge?
Right now, more foster carers are needed in Bristol, Gloucestershire and Somerset (especially the Bridgwater and Taunton areas) to provide a safe, stable home for vulnerable children and young people in your area.

Fostering takes energy, enthusiasm and the willingness to make a full-time commitment to fostering. If you have previously fostered or have experience in working with children and young people with complex needs, we want to hear from you.

There are many different types of placements we can offer to foster carers and some examples are listed here. For example we are looking for carers who can offer short breaks for families with children who have disabilities.

We are also looking for Parent and Child foster carers to provide a mum or dad and their child/ren a safe and secure environment for a while in your home; mentoring them and passing on your skills to help them become successful parents.

We are particularly looking for foster carers for children and young people who have previously been living in residential care and who would benefit from the chance to live as part of a family in a fully supported fostering placement.
