Our client, a nationwide childrens charity is looking to recruit an Interim Financial Analyst until the end of March 2013 in their London offices. The charity has operational presence throughout England, and is looking for a driven and ambitious Interim Financial Analyst to be responsible for leading the delivery of a high annual and multi-year budget for the charity. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work within the dynamic Financial Department of this thriving charity and will manage an efficient annual and multi-year budgeting ensuring consistency with short and long-term strategic plans of the charity.
Main duties and Responsibilities include:
Assisting with the Preparations of investment appraisal, performance monitoring, and scenario planning.
Demonstrating and maintaining high standards of customer service
and providing high-value information in a timely manner
Developing and implementing key financial models such as, overhead allocation, project costing and multi-year income forecasting.
The Financial analyst will be responsible for developing and impleting templates for major investment appraisals.
Skills and experiences:
Qualified Accountant (ACCA/ACA or CIMA)
Experience of using Advanced Excel (pivot tables and graphs).
Substantial broad business experience working with operational and business support units.
Experience in business process re-engineering and value engineering.
Demonstrable experience leading cross-functional working groups
The Financial Analyst will have to have a flexible and adaptable approach when working with stakeholders.
Able to build trusting relationships across stakeholders.
Excellent Project Management and Change Management skills.
Experience in strategy mapping and bench marking.
