We are looking for an energetic, fun and responsible girl to come and join our lively family in London. We are a lively family of 5 – Andrew (English), Tina (Danish) and our 3 children Alexander 4, Oscar 6 and Sophia 8, enjoying family time, sport, music, travelling and good food. We both work in central London. The kids go to 2 different local schools.

We live in Wimbledon (in South West London) which is a leafy suburb of London within walking distance of everything from shops, bars, cinemas, theatre, language schools, fitness centre etc. Central London is 20-25 min away on with train or underground.

We need a positive, easy going but organised person who genuinely enjoys the company of young children and who relevant experience. Our children have a full day with long days at school and homework when they get home. We need somebody who is organised, fun and comfortable having sole charge of the kids. You will be responsible for getting the children ready in the morning, cooking simple meals for dinner, help with homework and be able to drive the children to and from their schools (3km away). We will give you a few driving lessons when you get here if you are not used to driving on the left side of the road!

You will be responsible for tidying up after breakfast, and after you have cooked for the children in the evening (you will not be cooking for Andrew and I). You will also be responsible for keeping the children’s rooms and clothes tidy but will not need to wash clothes or clean (we have a cleaner who will clean your room too).

Your total working week will range between 27-32 hours plus up to 2 evenings of baby sittings per week. Most of your work will be on the days Tina works (typically Tuesday-Thursday) from 7-10.30 am and again from 15.00 – 19.30. Tina’s work at times requires her to work different or additional hours and we need you to be prepared to change days or hours to make this possible. You will typically have most of Monday and Friday off apart from a couple of hours of light house work and help at dinner time. You will have most weekends off apart from occasional babysitting in the evenings, leaving plenty of time for you to explore London and surroundings. We will always give you as much notice as possible for when we need you to babysit to make sure have a chance to make plans of your own.

We will pay you £110 per week.

During the school holidays we often go away, but when we are working we will need you to look after the children on the days we both work. You will have up to 7 weeks holiday during a full calendar year.
