Fresh food focused pub located in Fair Oak requires a

Kitchen Assistant

This is a modern pub which is very focused on creating fresh simple dishes that focus on flavour and currently requires a Kitchen Assistant to work within the small team in the kitchen.

Serving on average 400 covers a week this pub offers 64 covers in the restaurant but also has al fresco dining during the summer months sun trap outside the pub front and in the garden

Duties and Responsibilities - Specific

To assist in the preparation of food

To assist in the serving of meals to clients, staff and others and the setting and clearing of tables.

To assist in the preparation and serving of beverages to staff, clients and others

To wash and dry kitchen pots/utensils and ensure their proper storage.

To clean the kitchen area (floors, cookers etc.)

This position of kitchen assistant you will be required to support the kitchen team and prepare food & meals to the required standard.

To assist in ensuring a high level of health and safety, cleanliness and food hygiene and to ensure that safe working practices are followed.

To report any problems to the Chef in Charge or responsible Senior manager.

Assist in stock taking and storage of stock, including checking deliveries

To carry out any other reasonable duties within the overall function of the job

Requirements:
