Job title: Experienced Administrator
Hours: Full time, 35 hours per week
Salary: £7.00 - £8.00 per hour initially going to £14k - £17k + bonuses once permanent (the ranges are dependant on experience).
Location: Kirkstall Road, LS4. Excellent transport links and free parking
Job Description:
- Candidate MUST have a minimum of 3 years experience working as an office administrator or secretary.
- Processing supplier and customer invoices using Microsoft Excel and a CRM system.
- Taking calls/messages from suppliers and customers.
- Using two CRM system to manage customers - contacting customers to obtain meter readings, to take payments, to send out letters, to respond to customer queries.
- General filing and organising of paperwork.
- We are looking for a candidate to grow with our company to become a manager responsible for a team of sales and administrative staff.

Yorkshire Gas and Power supply are a commercial gas and electricity supplier. We are a small but rapidly growing company. There are currently 2 directors working in the company in a professional office on Kirkstall Road, LS4.
We are looking for someone who has a strong work ethic, who wants to make a difference to the way we work. A confident and friendly manner is necessary for when speaking with customers.
There is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to grow with the company to be looking after a team of staff within 12 months. The candidate must be someone who is looking for a career and not just an interim job.
Mandatory Skills:
- A MINIMUM of 3 years experience working as an office administrator or secretary
- Vast experience with working from computers
- Experienced using Microsoft Excel (basic functions)
- Vast experience using Microsoft Outlook
- Highly organised with very strong attention to detail
- An excellent level of English and grammar, ability to confidently draft professional letters and e-mails
- Hard worker, looks,to constantly overachieve
- Driven by results
- Enthusiastic and keen to learn
- Quick learner - this is key as there are 2 systems to learn to use well
- Must be HIGHLY reliable
- Candidate must be ambitious
