Experienced Bar Manager required for a well established and thriving community public house. You will be taking care of the day to day runnings, managing staff, stock, cellar & service.

You must be enthusiastic about food, food matching, cask ales, wine, new products, passionate about people & most importantly passionate about pubs.

We are a traditional pub with modern methods, sensitive of what people want, we do the basics well and are eager to try new things.

Each month plays host to an array of events which you will help to build, maintain & manage. We welcome ideas & fresh thinking from our staff and in reward you will receive full support and training in fields of interest.

You must hold a personal licence, previous bar management experience is also essential including; cellar supervision, cask ale, wine & spirit knowledge, managing staff rotas, cashing up, food service & staff training.

You must have a strong hold of the English language and live locally to the premises as this is not a live-in position.
