Our client is based in the Bromley area and is looking for an experience Clinical Psychologist to work in our client's secure young adolescent mental hospital/facility.
This provides a turning point for adolescents from 12 - 18 years old who spend time with them and their aim is to provide a safe and secure environment.
The role is to provide a qualified comprehensive clinical psychology service to young people. You will be responsible for the provision of a psychology service at the hospital delivering direct and indirect clinical interventions relevant to young people and their families. Undertaking psychological assessments and disseminate reports and summaries of such. To provide specialist psychological assessment and therapy. offer advice and consultation on patient's psychological care to non-psychologist colleagues and to others, including non-professionals and carers.
The ability to contribute to the management, co-ordination and planning of the service development. Working autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of the team's policy and procedures.
Ideally you will have a First degree in Psychology and a post graduate qualifications in clinical psychology recognised by the British Psychological Society or BOS 'State of Equivalence' for candidates overseas qualification DBT training is desirable but not essential.
