An exciting new opportunity has arisen in the sales department of one of Cardiff's top events venues, offering a full time position for an immediate start.
The role of the sales executive is to maximise and grow advanced sales within their venue, promoting the venue to meet the targets of the business.
Assist clients by offering advice and help to best accommodate their enquiry/booking.
Assist the venue team in the production and delivery of sales plans designed around focus areas of the business
Update the internal system daily with new enquiries and bookings and to perform chase and follow up calls.
Perform client show rounds and meet and greet clients acting as the venues representative.
Ensure smooth delivery of all events
Plan effectively for successful delivery of the crucial Christmas and New Years Eve business targets
Be creative, resourceful and provide feedback to other areas of the business such as Commercial, Operations.
Be pro-active and help drive the business forward.
The position is hourly paid at a rate of £6.50 p/h with regular incentives.
Applicant must have experience dealing with customers in a sales environment, be confident on the phone and be pro-active. Must work well in a team and have an outgoing personality. Will need to be available evenings and weekends.
