EF Language Travel in Brighton is Recruiting a large number of roles in the academic department as well as, activties and the summer management team. See below for more information:

Teacher Roles:
Positions Available: up to 30
Contract length: Minimum commitment 3 weeks. Up to 10 weeks
When: Between June and August 2013

Assistant Academic Manager:
Positions Available: 3
Contract Length: 6-10 weeks
When: Between June and August 2013

Academic Manager:
Positions Avalable: 1
Contract Length: 6-8 Months
When: Between Feb/March - August 2013

Activity Leader:
Positions Available: up to 30
Contract length: Minimum commitment 3 weeks. Up to 10 weeks
When: Between June and August 2013

Activity Management Team:
Positions Available: 3-4
Contract Length: Between 6 and 12 weeks

Local Teacher
In this role you will plan, prepare and deliver the EF academic programme through structured and interactive lessons and ensure a high level of customer service and student satisfaction.
Your key tasks will consist of, but not be limited to:
• Facilitating testing during the course, including marking tests.
• Lesson planning and preparation before each class.
• Teaching classes every weekday following the EF methodology.
• Classroom management.
• Daily liaising with co-teacher to discuss progress & ongoing lessons.
• Monitoring daily attendance and keeping up to date records and paperwork.
• Attending all teacher meetings.
• Ensuring the EF behaviour code is followed by students at all times and inform management immediately if there are any issues or problems.
• Dealing with problems and emergency situations should they arise.
Requirements
• Enthusiastic, organised and a natural leader.
• Highly responsible, approachable and friendly.
• Have the ability to create a positive learning environment.
• Have the right to live and work in the country of employment.
• Complete fluency in English.
• Attend training prior to your contract commencing.
• One of the following qualifications:
- CELTA
- Blended TEFL
- TESOL
- PGCE with TEFL or English Language

Academic Manager Role:

In this role you will assume overall responsibility for the Academic aspects of the Centre, support the teaching staff and ensure a high level of customer service and student satisfaction.
Your key tasks will consist of, but not be limited to:
• Setting up the school and ensuring all classrooms meet EF specifications and adequate resources are available
• Allocating teachers to groups and classrooms.
• Managing all teaching staff at your Centre.
• Coordinating timetables for all academic groups.
• Managing academic stock including exam papers, certificates and equipment.
• Teacher support including observations, feedback and development.
• Delivering regular teacher briefings.
• Collating and reviewing academic paperwork.
• Welfare and discipline within the classroom.
• Dealing with problems and emergency situations should they arise.
Requirements
• Either a CELTA, or PGCE/ B.Ed. with knowledge of EFL/EAL
Qualifications due to complete in the current academic year will also be considered.
• Minimum six months teaching experience or one summer teaching for EF.
• Enthusiastic, organised and a natural leader.
• Capable of using your own initiative.
• Have the right to live and work in the country of employment.
• Complete fluency in English.
• Attend a training weekend prior to your contract commencing.


Activity Leader
In this role you will work alongside a co-leader to organise and produce a full activity and excursion timetable and ensure a high level of customer service and student satisfaction.

Your key tasks will consist of, but not be limited to:
• Assisting with student arrivals and departures.
• Delivering an initial welcome briefing to students.
• Ongoing promotion of activities and encouragement of student participation.
• Conducting daily meetings with students after lessons to communicate information regarding activity choices, meeting times and places and upcoming events.
• Attending and running all activities for your group.
• Collecting money for bus passes and optional excursions.
• Monitoring daily attendance and keeping up to date records and paperwork.
• Attending all leader meetings.
• Participating in the duty rotas when required.
• Ensuring the EF behaviour code is followed by students at all times and inform management immediately if there are any issues or problems.
• Dealing with problems and emergency situations should they arise.

Requirements
• Enthusiastic, organised and a natural leader.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Capable of using your own initiative.
• Responsible and flexible.
• Have the right to live and work in the country of employment.
• Complete fluency in English.
• Attend 2 days of training prior to your contract commencing.


Activity Manager:
In this role you will assume overall responsibility for the activity programme at the Centre, support the activities staff and ensure a high level of customer service and student satisfaction.
Your key tasks will consist of, but not be limited to:
• Planning and promoting activities and excursions.
• Liaising with local suppliers and attractions.
• Coordinating timetables for all activity groups.
• Monitoring activity stock levels with regular stock takes.
• Collecting, recording and banking income.
• Activity Leader support including observations, feedback and development.
• Delivering regular leader briefings.
• Collating and reviewing activities paperwork.
• Welfare and discipline on activities and excursions.
• Dealing with problems and emergency situations should they arise.
Requirements
• Experience of working with young people.
• Enthusiastic, organised and a natural leader.
• Capable of using your own initiative.
• Have the right to live and work in the country of employment.
• Complete fluency in English.
• Attend a training weekend prior to your contract commencing.
