Nomad Travel are offering an exciting and challenging role at our Head Office in Enfield to lead the expanding ecommerce team. We are looking for a candidate who will provide technical, commercial and visual merchandising direction and strategies to maximise online sales conversions.

As Ecommerce Manager, the ideal candidate will develop, deliver and manage targeted communication campaigns, increase conversions through measurable and detailed analysis of customer behaviour, and increase customer return frequency.

The successful applicant will also have major input into the initial release and implementation of a new website and integration with the back office Microsoft Dynamix AX.

Key requirements:
* Basic knowledge and understanding of HTML ideal but not essential
* Experience in ecommerce on a transactional site
* Experience in improving Search Engine marketing (SEO)
* In-depth knowledge of online marketing channels including social media
* Experience of growing a database and driving revenue through e-campaigns
* Experience using web analytics data to drive revenue and conversions
* Previous experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX advantageous but not essential

Responsibilities include:
* Merchandising the online store
* Maintaining website content and products through CMS
* Driving traffic, engagement and conversion through devising online marketing strategies
* Building and implementing online marketing campaigns including email and social media marketing
* Monitoring analytics, sales, campaigns, site performance with the outcome of adding value to the consumer experience

The ideal candidate for this position would have an interest in travel and/or outdoor activities. The right Ecommerce Manager will also have a keen eye for effective website merchandising and marketing to help drive online sales.
