We are well-established independent designer opticians with expert knowledge of optometry and a passion for excellence and quality brands looking to hire a qualified dispensing optician manager for our thriving business. We have seen substantial growth over the last 3 years with the addition of 2 stores and we plan to continue increasing our coverage across London over the coming years.

In addition we aim to provide both our store staff and our customers with an excellent overall environment.

The ideal candidate must have managerial experience and at least 5 years dispensing experience.

The Role:

You will be expected to assist the Store Director in the management of Store operations in order to achieve excellent customer service, financial goals and business objectives.
Extensive lens knowledge
Stock control
Ensure the leadership vision in the store is in line with the company’s vision and values
Utilise reports and management information in relation to key performance Indicators
Set relevant performance targets and bonus schemes for all staff
Discuss and set business objectives with the store director
Understand and motivate store staff to get results
Understand employment law and manage staff performance accordingly and manage the recruitment and induction of new staff
Develop commercial opportunities through effective PR, marketing and corporate products
Be an ambassador for the company brand at all times

Working hours are 5 days a week including Saturdays 9:30 to 18:00.

Salary is £20,000 – £30,000 depending on experience.
