We are expanding the distribution side of our business and have an immediate need for efficient, organised and pro-active people to join our busy team. We are a long running make-up company with shops in London and distributors through Europe and Asia. Recently our online sales have boosted and so we will now run a separate but small dispatch office/warehouse.
The initial role will be to manage a fast paced goods in and goods out, administration and accounts as well as the storage and distribution. Ideally the right candidate will have previous administration or dispatch experience.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
Control stock coming in and out of the warehouse
Accurately locate, pick and pack the correct items
Learn and use our back-office software proficiently, and to use Interlink/DPD, Fedex, and Royal Mail to dispatch orders correctly
Provide administration support - dealing with all paperwork and data entry relating to operations
Contact customers where necessary in relation to their order/delivery
Quality control - inspect stock coming in and going out
Maintaining a clean and tidy workplace.
Experience of basic SAGE usage is preferable OR candidate must have good computer competency and a willingness to learn.
The role demands excellent communication and organisational skills. They will need to keep Head Office apprised of all goings on and liase effectively with both Head Office and the stores. The successful candidate must have a strong work ethic and flexibility and be able to prioritise the workload effectively. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure and within time scales is essential.
