A newly developed 3-month internship role, with plenty of potential at a global online media company in central London. As Digital Communications Assistant you will be involved with both internal and external digital B2B and B2C communications for the company and marketing activities.
You will be in touch with online trends and monitoring, sourcing, writing and producing content for social media channels, website and e-newsletters. You will be working directly with many of the worlds leading media companies in music, film and sport on a day-to-day basis in providing them insights into digital business operations, analytics and online piracy activity.
You should have a strong interest in digital business for the media industries, and in particular digital trends taking place online, and you will be able to produce original content based on current trends concisely, on-time and with energy.
The right candidate will have previous digital media and marketing experience, ideally to University level or similar, with great copyrighting skills and an independent, investigative nature. Familiarity with website CMS will be an advantage.
This is an exciting role for someone looking for their first semi-permanent position in the media industries - you could be a student, graduate, or already in employment.
This is initially a fixed-term part-time position (three calendar months from May-July 2012, with a monthly review) starting at 7 hours per week, which could quickly develop into a permanent part-time role for the right candidate. A travel and lunch cost allowance will also be paid on submitting receipts via a monthly expenses claim form, subject to a maximum allowance. Other company benefits may be included.
