Salary - £12 per hour
Main Purpose of the role:
To support the Service Manager and staff in the day to day activities to provide the highest standards of support to the people who use our service in line with company and regulatory standards.
What Are The Key Responsibilities?
Assist the manager in ensuring that excellent standards of support are provided to the people who use our service by staff
Support the staff in reviewing and updating all person centred care plans regularly
Organise for staff to complete all mandatory training and training specific to the service, including maintaining the training plan
Support the manager in staff supervisions and annual appraisals
Keep up-to-date with any changes to policies, procedures or regulations that affect the service and support the manager in communicating these to the staff team
To support the people who use our service to reach their full potential
Ensure that all the people who use our service have any personal needs or requirements met including personal care, participation with activities, support with daily living tasks
Respond to or refer to Management any questions or concerns expressed by anyone using the service, visiting the service or in the local community
Take responsibility for personal development and attendance at training both mandatory and service specific
Report any incidents of abuse, mistreatment or non-compliance within the service to the Service Manager or next available management level
Fulfil any duties requested by the management of the service
Support the Service Manager and service through attendance at marketing events, e.g. open days, fairs, sports days etc
Take responsibility for the safe working environment for self, colleagues and the people who use our service
