Description : My client is a well established bank, situated in Toronto. They are looking for a Data Entry Clerk. This is a 6 months contract with a strong possibility of extension based on performance.

Perform data entry/cleanup tasks as directed. Tasks to include:
Identifying and resolve duplicates
Change values from one value to another, applying a business rule to determine the new value
Excel work to sort and prepare for data entry
Read source documents such as canceled checks, sales reports, or bills, and enter data in specific data fields or onto tapes or disks for subsequent entry, using keyboards or scanners
Compile, sort and verify the accuracy of data before it is entered.
Locate and correct data entry errors, or report them to supervisors
Compare data with source documents, or re-enter data in verification format to detect errors
Working hours 8:30-5:00, some overtime may be required in order to meet a user deadline
Requirements: Required Skills:
High School Diploma or equivalent is required
2 - 4 years related data entry experience required
Verbal and written communication skills
Attention to detail
Customer service skills and interpersonal skills
