Our client, an online publishing company based in London is looking for a Customer Service/Online Marketing Assistant to join their team. This position requires someone who has a passion for sport, has strong Customer Service and some Marketing experience and an excellent work ethic.


Customer Service - Dealing with customers on the phone and by email including;
• Arranging refunds
• Reporting to finance
• Upselling to customers
• Arranging the dispatch of books with the mailing house
• Clearing customer inboxes on a daily basis
• Building and sending email campaigns including setting up the monthly schedule and coming up with strategies for testing
• Maintain marketing reports for daily email sends, including the monthly online report
• Updating spreadsheets
• Managing affiliate relationships as well and identifying new potential relationships whilst keeping report of any activity
• Looking at ways to bring in new leads based on reviews around current leads and where they are coming from and which leads are converting best
• Making sure the social media accounts are active i.e twitter and facebook by interacting with the users and providing them with information and offers regarding and new content/books/subscriber offers that are coming in

• Knowledge of HTML is desired
• Intermediate to Advanced using Excel
• Experience working with email service providers and a content management system is desired
• Knowledge of Social Media is useful but not essential
• Excellent analytical, literacy and numeracy skills
• Excellent communication skills
• A passion for sport performance/sport science is essential
• Creative and able to contribute innovative ideas
• They will be responsible for compiling accurate marketing and financial reports on business activity.
