CRED Jewellery is the leading Fairtrade jewellers, with studios in Chichester and London. CRED lead the way in the transparent supply chain for gold, and have built relationships with our miners over 15 years of direct trading. CRED’s business decisions have paved the way for a sustainability & fairtrade movement in the jewellery industry.
As well as Fairtrade Wedding & Engagement rings, CRED design fine jewellery collections in house, and offer the best in UK ethical jewellery designers via the showrooms and online.
CRED created the first gold jewellery to be stamped with the Fairtrade & Faimined hallmark, and was worn by Livia Firth on the Oscars red carpet in 2011. We have collaborated with leading designers including Anna Loucah and Sophie Harley.
Job role & requirements

To meet our appointment based customers & general running of studio
• Understand and sell a diverse range of fine jewellery products and achieve targets.

• General duties of store running
• Email & telephone customer liaison
• Meeting customers in our studio space
•
• Maintain a high awareness and knowledge of the competitors within the luxury
 brands and jewellery sector to ensure that all business opportunities are identified
 considered and implemented appropriately.

• Dedicated in managing very high value stock leading to zero discrepancies.

• Opportunity to travel for meetings & exhibitions
• May be required to work in our Chichester store at times.
The Candidate Profile

• Must have experience of working in customer service role, with basic administration duties
• Excellent communication skills particularly with customers and via phone & email
• Strong prioritisation skills and ability to manage workload
• Knowledge of Microsoft word, excel & outlook.
• Knowledge of jewellery retail desirable.
• Ability to follow set systems & procedures and to work flexibly.
• Experience of working in a small team and be a team player.
• Must be a people’s person and show ability to manage customer relations.

• Customer service training essential.
• Must be self-motivated, with the ability to make decisions and use own initiative.

Location: Clerkenwell, London EC1
Salary: 6 months probation period - £8.50 per hour.
Hereafter £9.00 per hour plus bonus opportunity
Job Type: 20 hours per week – can include Saturdays & evenings.
