Based In S.E.London, We Are A Tour Operator Looking For A Self-motivated, Highly Enthusiastic And Flexible Creative Designer To Join Our Team For Various And Numerous Projects Within A Creative Environment. As A Predominantly Online Operator, We Will Expect A Level Of Understanding Of Online Media And Web Design However We Envision That The Role Will Revolve Around Offline, Printed Work And Online Website Work.

To Be Considered For This Position You Must Be Fluent In English And Have Lots Of Initiative And Creative Flair.

You Will Be Involved In Projects From Concept Through To Completion As Well As Working Closely And Communicating Directly With Customers To Establish Their Needs And Requirements. On Some Projects You Will Be Given The Opportunity To Start From A Blank Canvas And So You Need To Be Confident In Bringing Your Own Ideas To The Table.

Some Of Your Duties Will Include:
* Assisting In House Web Content Manager And Brochure Design Team With Current And New Projects
* Developing Designs And Concepts That Have Been Devised By Our Graphic Design Team
* Test Functionalities Of Websites In Different Web Browsers And Resolutions To Maximise Effectiveness Of Websites
* Create, Design And Edit Images And Graphics For Websites, Brochures And Other Print Mediums
* Handle Website And Brochure Layouts And Templates
* Able To Determine The Coding Required For The Initial Creation Of The Website
* Manage Client Support Requests For Hosting And E-mail Marketing
* Perform Routine Website Maintenance Work And Updates
* Organisation And The Ability To Self-manage
* Experience Creating Print-ready Designs For Logos, Stationery, Flyers, Brochures, Etc...
* Strong Accuracy And Attention To Detail In Your Work
* Knowledge Of Image Formats And Colour Modes For Hand Over To Printers Will Be Required
* A Portfolio Demonstrating A Good Eye For Colour, Imagery And Layout.

Desirable Skills
- Experience With Dreamweaver, HTML, Video Editing Skills (FinalCut), Adobe Suite And InDesign
- Well Rounded Knowledge Of IT In Particular HTML, XHTML CSS, W3C And Javascript
- Able To Use Open Source Software And Programs E.g. Magento, Prestashop And Wordpress
- Ability To Work With PHP
- Able To Map And Outline A Website And Brochure’s Structural Content
- Knowledge Of Photoshop Layers, Filters And Blending Options Used For Web Design.
- Experience Social Media Sites
- Ability To Work In Flash

Advantageous Skills - Not Pivotal As Training Will Be Provided Over Time
- Ability To Create/edit Custom Themes For Wordpress, Prestashop, Magento Etc
- A Knowledge And Familiarity With Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Techniques
- An Understanding Of The Latest Specifications Including HTML5, CSS3 And JQuery
- Familiar With Email Marketing And Newsletters
